Balambiga Metal Finishers houses all necessary equipments to facilitate varied Electroplating works in Zinc, Nickel, Tin, Lead, Copper Plating, Electro-Polishing, SS Passivation, lackening, Phosphating, etc.

BMF caters to customers round the clock through well organized meticulous three shifts. The in-house lab facilities for analyzing plating chemicals and store room facility to keep the finished components are worth mentioning.

BMF's testing equipments to test the plating thickness of varied components besides advanced XRF thickness tester are efficient. It carries out in-house Salt Spray Test with advanced salt spray appratus.

In order to carry out hydrogen De-Embrittlement works, BMF has installed its own furnace. BMF is endowed with an ET plant facility with a certificate from KSPCB.

Salt Spray Appratus

Salt spray testing is also called as fog test. In the salt spray test apparatus painted / coated panels, automobile components i.E. Electro-plated, painted, and anodized etc are exposed to a mist of salt over a period of test duration. Saturated air produced by spraying common salt solution into an enclosed cabinet. The articles being positioned for this accelerated corrosion test in such a way that they are exposed to the hot mist produced in the chamber, through the controlled air and liquid nozzles.
XRF Tester

X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is the emission of characteristic "secondary" (or fluorescent) X-rays from a material that has been excited by bombarding with high-energy X-rays or gamma rays. The phenomenon is widely used for elemental analysis and chemical analysis, particularly in the investigation of metals, glass, ceramics and building materials, and for research in geochemistry, forensic science and archaeology.
